Fars News: "US, Zionists Feel Islamic Vigilance"

http://judeopundit.blogspot.com [Judeopundit] Those who maliciously use Takfir to declare large groups of Muslims as unbelievers, those who insult the sanctities of various divisions of Islam, those who betray and put a dagger in the back of the Lebanese youth who are a source of honor for the Muslim Ummah, those who speak of the fabricated threat of a Shiite crescent in order to please the Americans and the Zionists, those who incite fratricidal hostilities and lawlessness in Iraq to defeat its Islamic and popular government, and those who put pressure on the elected HAMAS government in Palestine, whether intentionally or unintentionally, will be regarded as culprits, detested by history and future generations and looked upon as mercenaries of the brutal enemy.

Iran

[It's a Paul World] The Iranians, for example, might choose to get directly involved should the U.S. military aid the Iraqi government in a crackdown on the Iranian-backed Mahdi Army and the Badr brigade, two Shiite militias fueling the sectarian violence in Iraq. (A clear sign that Iran is contemplating just such a move was revealed on Christmas day, when the U.S. Acknowledged it was holding four Iranians captured during a raid on the Headquarters of Abdulaziz al-Hakim in Baghdad just three weeks after he met with President Bush in the Oval Office).

Blogs for Bloodlust

http://www.hells-handmaiden.com [hell’s handmaiden] we’ll still have that window of opportunity between test and deployment where we can attack Iran’s nuclear and missile infrastructure, as well as doing other military and economic acts which, even if they don’t destroy Iran’s capabilities, will seriously degrade them and sink Iranian prestige (perhaps to the point of revolution) while raising that of the United States vis a vis the wavering masses in the Arab/Moslem world.

Kick the United Nations out of the United States

[Political Friends] The more I follow politics, the more I think the United Nations doesn’t work anymore. If the United Nations doesn’t work, should the United States continue to be a part of the process?

Deal and no deal

[CRIMES AND CORRUPTIONS OF THE NEW WORLD ORDER NEWS] In spite of sanctions imposed on several firms by the Bush administration, on December 16, 2006, a multi-billion dollar civilian nuclear deal was concluded with China. While the US-China deal may well be a sweetener to nudge China into signing the Iran-sanctions bill, much like the 800-page WTO agreement signed in Hanoi between Bush and Putin, one must wonder if the nuclear technology that the US will hand over to China will end up in the hands of the Taliban or Bin-Laden!

Is It Sabre Rattling?

The Agonist | thoughtful, global, timelyhttp://agonist.org [The Agonist | thoughtful, global, timely] IRAQ WAR...with President Bush all but certain to order his version of the John McCain “send in more troops” plan, informed sources say they worry that Iran may misunderstand what it’s seeing, especially if DOD deploys not just ground troops, but more US Navy assets to the region.

Iran Shifts, Bush Censors

LiberalOasis[LiberalOasis] The Washington Note posts statement from fmr Bush official Flynt Everett: " last week, the White House inserted itself into the prepublication review process for an op-ed on the administration's bungling of the Iran portfolio that I had prepared for the New York Times, blocking publication of the piece on the grounds that it would reveal classified information. This claim is false and, I have come to believe, fabricated by White House officials to silence an established critic of the administration's foreign policy incompetence at a moment when the White House is working hard to fend off political pressure to take a different approach to Iran and the Middle East more generally.";

Ayaan Hirsi Ali: Why they deny the Holocaust

http://www.taoofdefiance.com [Tao Of Defiance] Western leaders today who say they are shocked by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s conference this week denying the Holocaust need to wake up to that reality. For the majority of Muslims in the world, the Holocaust is not a major historical event that they deny.

As Goes Lebanon So Goes the Middle East

[Jihadi Du Jour] Watching the news a moment ago my Beloved Curmudgeon noted that the newscast used and entire 3 minute segment on whether or not the United States had been wiretapping Princess Diana prior to her death in 1997. Following that segment, there was a 30 second segment on the looming crisis in Lebanon.

Assessments of the ISG’s Negotiating Recommendations

http://americanfuture.net [AMERICAN FUTURE - Trying to make sense of a world in turmoil] His answer was that "the clearest sign would be an exit or evacuation of U.S. forces," adding that "Should there be a timetable presented, that would serve as a positive sign." Further, he indicated that if the Bush Administration embraced a call for gradual withdrawal, Iran would agree to join discussions on Iraq and Afghanistan." He didn't explain how the vacuum resulting from the American withdrawal would be filled in a way that avoided all-out civil war. Harvard professor Graham Allison, who met with Larijini after the Ignatius-Larijini tete-a-tete, said: "In discussing Iraq after the U.S. withdrawal he didn't seem to have a credible idea of what comes next."

J’Accuse!!!

http://www.peres-fondateurs.com/~freedom [Freedom] The moral, and historically proven bankruptcy of the ISG’s recommendations for appeasement of Iran and Syria are only matched by the lunacy and blind hatred of Israel of James Baker. This lunatic hatred is amply demonstrated by such blatant examples as having a regional conference that would discuss Israel’s future to which ISRAEL WOULD NOT BE INVITED, but Syria and Iran (who wants to wipe Israel “off the map”) would!!!
