[China Aid] Burger in the Patriot-News reported that Chuck Kish, 44, a senior pastor at the Bethel Assembly of God in Carlisle, is launching a program at the Market Cross Pub next month to put chaplains in bars. They’ll offer help to people who want it.

[Luisgranados.com Blog] Bar Chaplains: Pastor “Chuck” Kish of the Bethel Assembly of Carlisle, Pennsylvania is launching a program to install “chaplains” in local bars. The chaplains will wear clerical garb, stare at people, and be available to “help” them with their problems. The plan is to start in upscale bars, and then branch out to bars frequented by college students, many of whom apparently need all the religious guidance they can get.
